Grace Period

A grace period is the period of time beyond a scheduled date during which a required action (such as accepting the prize after winner notification) must be taken without incurring the ordinarily adverse consequences.

In the case of sweepstakes, contests, and raffles, if a participant does not come forward to as the winner within the grace period after they are notified, they may forfeit the prize.

The Sponsor of the promotion sets this grace period before a new winner is drawn in the Official Rules.
